Greetings self help reader. Do you allow negativity to overwhelm you? Are your doubtful emotions haunting you? Do you perceive everything in a negative way? The reason for these things lies deep inside your soul and mind. Psychologically and spiritually speaking, you are what you eat. If you were to consume beer in large amounts everyday, chances are that your body could be negatively affected. You could have a liver issue, develop cancer or incur another type of physical condition. In the same way, an individual who feeds on negative thinking or emotions, will develop into a negative person.

The time is now to begin a diet regime. It should consist of an eating routine of positive attitude food. You need to stop giving your mind negative things. Monitor the next thing that pops into your mind. Determine if it is positive or negative. Do you know what negative thoughts look like? Some negative thoughts or negative attitudes contain the words can't, no, and won't. You should confine every thought. Our thoughts have taken us prisoner in today's world, which is a huge dilemma. We have allowed our thoughts to imprison us.

One of the best ways to determine what we are pessimistic about should be to ask a close friend or relative. Ask this person to rate your attitude on a scale of 1 to 10. 10 equals super positive and 1 equals super pessimistic. Tell the person to be honest with you. You will take advantage to move forward with this info because of their trustworthy answer, even if it causes you emotional pain. Ask the person what words you specifically use in a negative manner. Jot down what he/she tells you and examine the words. Now is the time to be honest with yourself. The words you use are a reflection of your inner feelings. They are who you are. The good news is that you can change. Success is a choice away. Switching your thoughts from negative to positive is essential. Decide what you will change the pessimistic words on your paper to. When you have done this, place the new optimistic thoughts in your mind. You will start to become aware of positive transformation in your life. Friends, family, and co-workers will notice it too.

"Negative Events In T.V., News, or Real Life Can Hinder You."

The things that cause negativity in your existence can be the mainstream media, movies, newspapers or reliving a traumatizing experience in your mind. These things need to be eradicated in order for your new mental health regime to be a success. Watching the news is not a positive thing because it hinders you from attempting to filter out negative thoughts. Feeding yourself thoughts of mortality from a conflict, or gunfire or an automobile accident, perciptibly the result will be negative. There are times to grieve over the loss of a loved one. If a person continually replays the negative event in the mind it can cause to depression. The person who has passed to the great beyond is not coming back and we need to finish that element in our existence and carry on. This may be a difficult job that can solely be accomplished by deciding to move forward in life.
